Even during a very cold week, Old Maids Cottage stayed warm and cosy. We loved having evenings by the fire, and the modern facilities made it feel like a home from home. Lee is a lovely village, and the Grampus pub is great. It also makes a great base for exploring North Devon.

We had a lovely time here, and the cottage is a great place to get away to. A washing line or a decent tumble drier would have made things easier, and the cutlery felt cheap. I know those are small things to pick at, though. The place itself is really lovely.

A lovely country cottage, especially if you want cliff-top walks and time poking around rockpools. It’s been refurbished beautifully, and someone has thought through all the details.
