Seacroft

The downstairs wet room worked really well for our surf gear and dogs, and the bedrooms were great with comfy beds. We loved staying here as a whole family, and would happily come back. The location and views are lovely. We were there in September, which worked well. In summer, the narrow road and heavy traffic would make getting to and from Woolacombe a pain.

We spent our evenings watching the sunset from the decked terrace, which was wonderful. Seacroft is spacious and beautiful, recently redecorated by the new owners, with all the things you need for a holiday. The many bathrooms and the wet room are a real bonus. Several beaches, Mortehoe village and Woolacombe are all within walking distance, so there’s no need to drive unless you’re heading further afield. The owners were friendly and helpful throughout. I’d highly recommend the property.

We were a group of 10, but the house and grounds had plenty of room, so it never felt cramped. The beds were comfy, the crisp linen was lovely and clean, and every room had stunning views. The house is decorated to a high standard. There’s WiFi and a TV, plus lots of books, board games and jigsaws. A short walk in either direction gets you to village shops, a pub, sheltered coves or wide open beaches.

The downstairs shower room was so useful after beach days, especially for washing our wetsuits. We also had plenty of parking. Seacroft was light, airy and spacious, with wonderful views over the cliffs and shore from the big kitchen and dining area. The kids loved having two reception rooms, one for DVDs and one for playing. The clean en-suite bedrooms were finished to a high standard. In the two front double rooms, you can open the double doors onto a balcony and fall asleep listening to the sea. We really enjoyed the outdoor spaces and their fantastic views.
