For a budget hotel, this was clean and practical, with a decent bathroom and shower, plenty of hot water, and good water pressure. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. It has everything you need for a night or two, and parking is included in the price. Just remember to enter your number plate at reception. There's no restaurant in the hotel, but the adjoining service station has plenty of choices. It's not the Ritz, but you're not paying Ritz prices either.
The staff were friendly and helpful, but the room needed a refresh and more thorough cleaning. It was a convenient place to stay, though a bit grubby and run down, and there were quite a few hairs in the bathroom. We had ants on the spare bed and didn't use it. I would have complained if they had spread further. We were two people but had to ask for another towel, and the towels smelled a bit musty. With single glazing, traffic noise from the car park and motorway was pretty constant, so bring earplugs for a difficult night's sleep. The rooms could use more soundproofing generally. We also seemed to have elephants in the room above, with someone walking around a small room until 12:30. I'm not sure if we'd stay again.
The staff were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed, a shower and a bath. There's a large car park and an EV charging station.
The room was dirty, with hair on the bedding. The bedding was torn and had stains and marks on it. The shower and bath were absolutely disgusting, so we refused to use them. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
A very good stopover at the M5 services, with good parking. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with a comfy bed and a great shower. I'd stop here again.
