The soft mattress was the one thing that didn't suit us. The bed was high, though easy to get in and out of, and a firmer one would have made this an 11/10 stay for us. Everything else was lovely. The farm was easy to find and very quiet, with sheep below us and nice views all around. There's a pub about a five minute walk down the farm lane. Our bright, clean room was on the first floor of an outbuilding, with good lighting and parking right outside. The host was very trusting, and we left the cash in our room the next morning without anyone checking. They kept in touch before we arrived, welcomed us warmly, and even offered to make us something to eat that evening. Toothbrush and paste, the usual soap and shower gel, tea, coffee, snacks and cereals were provided. We chose our breakfast time and it arrived right on schedule: hot, tasty and filling, with orange juice, a pot of coffee, a full English, toast and jam, and cereals.

Breakfast was delivered to our door in the morning by a lovely lady, and it was so good we didn't eat for the rest of the day. The room was lovely, the bed really comfy, and everything was spotless. The whole family hosting us were incredibly welcoming and couldn't do enough. It's a beautiful location and easy to find. We had a lovely stay and will be back :)

Really peaceful and relaxing, and the shower was powerful and wonderful. Everything was very clean and nicely decorated, with food and drink just a few minutes' walk down the lane. We had such a lovely stay that I wish we'd booked earlier so we could stay longer.

The people running the place were very friendly, and it's a working farm with a good pub just a few yards down the lane. The country setting is wonderfully secluded. Our room was well furnished with modern facilities, the bed was lovely and comfortable, and a full English was cooked and brought to our door.

A great choice if you're going to the Wedding Barns just down the road. The little touches and exceptional service make this B&B stand out. If there's a room available, you'd be mad not to stay.
