We arrived with friends at 7:30 on Friday and wanted to stay longer, but the woman behind the bar rang the last-orders bell at 9:27 while the pub was busy. This has happened before, and many of us locals won't return. It's a shame because it's a lovely pub with a lot of money spent on it, and the food is great during the day. We hear a lot about country pubs struggling, then they close early when they're busy. Other pubs a few miles away stay open until 11 on Fridays, which is normal, so that's where we'll go now.

We stopped on the way to Pershore and were glad we did. The ingredients were excellent, and both the food and service were superb. We tried the all-day breakfast and steak and eggs, which was similar to shakshuka. We'll definitely come back.

We stayed for five nights and found everything spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent, as was Sunday lunch. Highly recommend.

The drinks and staff have been lovely when we've managed to catch the place open, so I wouldn't rule it out. But arriving around 9pm on a midweek, beautiful summer evening, we found the landlady locking up. We were told it was quiet and they wanted to go home. This had happened on an earlier visit too. Tikka Tikka stays open until 10pm and people were still coming in to eat, though apparently without a drink. The chaps there said she often shuts early, which clearly frustrated them and put off late customers. Don't leave it late.

We’ve been to the Flyford twice in the past week and were happy with every meal. Between us we had steak, a burger, fish pie, sausage and mash, and the pie of the day. Everyone enjoyed theirs, and the baked Camembert starter we shared was especially worth having. The staff made us feel very welcome, with friendly, polite service and plenty of help. Even in November they were glad for us to eat outside. There’s lots of space with picnic tables and a marquee, and the seating was comfortable with a gas heater. It’s easy to find and handy if you’re driving along the M50 or M5. We’d happily recommend it.
