The food was amazing, with large portions, and they catered for gluten-free diners too. Very good value for money, with attentive staff and a well-organised evening. The building looked stunning, lit up so it stood out over the fields as we drove up the road. We got a warm welcome when we came in and the service stayed just as good throughout the evening. Well done, everyone. I highly recommend it and will be back.

We hadn’t been back since it changed hands, but popped in today for a light lunch and were really pleased. The ham and pickle on brown and the prawn on brown both came with a nice salad, and we had tea and a latte. Everything was nicely presented, and the staff couldn’t have been more pleasant or helpful. Fair to say, we couldn’t fault it and will be back. We might try Sunday lunch or perhaps a Christmas meal. There was some drilling, presumably for room upgrades, but it wasn’t really a problem. The price was fine, and I’d recommend it.

They’re redeveloping the hotel in stages, and what’s happening looks like a big improvement for the place. Service has a few quirky moments, but I suspect the existing staff are working hard to keep up with the physical changes. Once everything works in harmony, it’ll be a brilliant place.

The meals at Hunday Manor were fabulous and generously portioned, and the staff were attentive. It’s a really lovely old building outside, with a nicely decorated interior. I highly recommend it for Sunday dinner.

The staff were great and the food was superb, and we did enjoy our stay. We had to change rooms three times in 40 minutes, and it was easy to find things wrong with the rooms. The refurbishment looks fab, though. In 2026 this could be a fantastic experience. I hope prices stay competitive.
