The room and bed were very comfortable, and the facilities were great. I stayed three nights for work, and they let me use the breakfast room in the evening and heat an M&S meal in the microwave. The hosts were great. I’ll definitely come back.

I really enjoyed the breakfast, and the hotel had comfortable amenities. The service and food were commendable, but the cleanliness fell short of what I expected. I noticed spiders in my room, which was especially distressing because I have a strong spider phobia. That issue affected my stay.

After a week in the Lakes, this was a wonderful stop for the night on my way back. The hosts were pleasant and helpful, offering everything they could to make the stay enjoyable. My room was bright, clean and spacious, and the bed was very, very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, definitely the best locally sourced breakfast I’ve had in this part of the country. Highly recommend!

We were welcome to eat a takeaway in the cosy breakfast room if we didn’t fancy going out, which was a nice touch. The hosts were amazing, and breakfast was great. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the whole place had tasteful furnishings and decor. Excellent bed and breakfast. We’ll definitely stay again if we’re in the area.

Di &Rob made sure I felt welcome, arranged an early breakfast for me and showed me to my room. It’s a fantastic B&B in a 200-year-old house, with fabulous decor.
