Wynnstay Arms

The food was a real treat: everything tasted great and was presented nicely, with plenty to choose from. The desserts were exceptional, and I always look at those before picking a main. We stayed in a beautiful location and will definitely book again in summer. Our room was fresh and clean, with lovely decor and an especially comfortable bed that gave us a great night's sleep. Staff were fantastic, warm and welcoming, and always ready to help. On arrival, the large car park had plenty of spaces, making things easy. We also saw a family kicking a ball around with their kids in the garden, which gave the place a relaxed, friendly feel straight away.

I had a meal at the wynstay and the food was great. Alfie served me, and he was helpful, polite and smiling the whole time. Fantastic service and great energy from a lovely lad. I'll definitely be back soon.

We spent December 21st at the Wynnstay Arms in Ruabon for our annual family Christmas get-together. There were four of us, including my son and his partner, and the stay was fantastic from beginning to end. The rooms were spacious enough for all four of us and both dogs, and they were clean and really comfortable. The food in the bar was excellent, and we ate there with the dogs. The Sunday meal was outstanding, and breakfast the next morning was very good too. The hotel made both dogs feel welcome, which made the trip much easier and our festive gathering feel complete. It was just the right setting for the holiday get-together. We’ll definitely return and recommend it to families travelling with their dogs.

All our guests loved the event, especially the delicious food. The room looked beautiful, and the atmosphere, music, food and staff were faultless. My partner and I held a party for my daughter’s birthday on the last Saturday in November, and Jamie, Paula and the whole events team were amazing. I booked in February, and Jamie went out of his way to do everything he could to make the day a success. I can’t thank him enough. We’ll book our future family events here too. A big thank you to Jamie and the team.
