There was plenty of room for two adults and three children in our room, which had a four-poster bed. We slept comfortably, and it was very quiet, well away from road noise. The building is charming, with a lovely outdoor area and animals to look at. The owners went out of their way to make our stay memorable, and breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. We’d definitely return if we’re in the area.

The garden is lovely, with a barbecue and outdoor furniture, and it’s enclosed so children and pets can be safe. Inside, there’s a lounge with sumptuous suites and lots of side tables. The place is large, with spacious rooms and so well equipped that we found things we hadn’t realised we needed. We spent a delightful weekend here, and the new beds were very comfortable, even with electric blankets.

I came here for some much-needed rest and found a stunningly beautiful place. The host was attentive without hovering, the bed was comfy, and breakfast was surely the best ever. A wonderful location, and I left with a full stomach. What more could you ask for?

Those locally sourced sausages were incredible. They even pick their own mushrooms, which I hadn’t known. Great local produce and hospitality, top marks!
