Natassa served us a lovely Christmas lunch for 14, two courses for just £20. We had roast beef with all the trimmings, then Christmas pudding and mince pies. The food was delicious, the service impeccable, and the welcome warm and friendly. It’s a real change to find a pub with such good value. We’ll be back.

We’d gone to the area to visit the Haynes Museum up the road. After walking out of another local pub because of poor service and atmosphere, we checked Google Maps and chose this place for a midweek lunch. The Catash Inn has clearly had a recent makeover, and it looks good. We know village pubs can sometimes be unwelcoming to people from outside, but everyone here was welcoming from the moment we arrived. We were a bit cheeky asking for food late in the afternoon, but the chef kindly said he’d sort us out. I had hunters chicken and chips for around £11 or £12, good value, with loads of very nice chips, triple-cooked style but more like fluffy roast potatoes. The chicken and bacon were tasty too. My wife enjoyed her macaroni cheese and chips, though the portion was probably too big. The toilets were clean and well presented, and there’s a good-sized car park behind the pub. Other reviews mention overnight parking for campervans, so we’d happily stop over there if we’re in the area with ours.

There were some great vegan options. My husband Alex really enjoyed his vegan Chili, and I liked my food too 😋. Staff and customers were all friendly and welcoming, and the place had that homely country-pub feel. We don’t have a dog, but it seems like a dog-friendly spot for those who do. Hope to visit again soon, thank you.

A lovely modern pub in the country, with very friendly people and really quick service. The pool table was great, and brand new when I visited.

We’ve come back to this old local for the second time since the new owners took over, and wow, what a difference! The food is sublime and the service faultless. Their prices make it hard to find a better Sunday roast nearby, and the weekday menu is even better. A perfect Greek touch too 😋
