Hawk House got me out of a tight spot when I needed a bed at 1am on the A303. Everywhere else was full or not answering, but they were helpful and found me a room. They'd also prepared everything for my 2am arrival, so I didn't have to track anyone down. The place looks a bit odd from outside, and the room wasn't luxurious, but it was clean and perfectly comfortable for one night. Simple and honest, just what I needed. I initially thought the shower was broken. There seems to be a knack to it: I got reliably hot water by switching it off and on and making sure the dial wasn't turned too high. I'd probably have rated it four stars otherwise. The service made all the difference, and the stay was perfectly adequate.

I'm wheelchair bound, and they always make sure everything is working for me. The two younger lads you mostly see at the hotel are amazing at their jobs, and the service has been absolutely amazing. I'm here because of a breakdown in my marriage, and they treat me like a guest, not a customer. Everything has been great. The adjoining restaurant is probably the best Indian restaurant I've had without going to India. I'd recommend staying here or just eating at the restaurant to anyone.

The staff were fantastic, warm and always ready to help, and everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. I found the rooms comfortable and well maintained, with all the facilities I needed. Hawk House is in a great spot for exploring, too. I had a really relaxing, enjoyable stay and would highly recommend it.

I loved how spotless and welcoming the BnB was. It felt like a home away from home, and there's clearly a lot of care put into keeping it that way. The location right on the A303 is handy for anyone travelling through. The new road layout gives the surroundings a fresh, modern feel, and the sunset views from the front of the property are lovely after a long day. Next door is the Blue Camel, which has the best Indian food in the southwest. It was a perfect way to end the day. Whether you're passing through or staying longer, this place is worth a visit. A wonderful stay, and I can't recommend it enough!

The rooms are straightforward, basic, clean and functional, and the staff were friendly and polite. The location is ideal for the Fleet Air Arm and Haynes Car Museums. The Indian restaurant next door is outstanding and well worth a visit.
