We spent the Bank Holiday weekend here, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. The beer garden at the back is beautiful, and we loved it. Our room was spacious and spotless, with a great big bathroom. The food was outstanding too: my steak and my mom's fish were delicious, full of flavour, and beautifully served. We'd love to come back!

The garden at the back is gorgeous and has lots of seating, and the food was brilliant, cooked just right, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. Our double room was clean and spacious, with a lovely large bathroom. Everyone was kind and friendly, and the service was excellent. We highly recommend the place and will definitely return.

At 7 pm, 250 miles from home, I arrived to find the hotel under new management. My payment through a well-known booking agency had gone to the old owners, and the new owners were refurbishing rooms and weren't taking bookings. The staff turned what could have been a disaster into a triumph. They were incredibly kind, had refurbished one room, and let me stay in it. The food was excellent, and there was a nice choice of lovely beers. They deserve to succeed, so pay them a visit!

The staff are amazing, helpful, and really friendly. My partner and I have tried the roast, lunch, and an evening meal, and the food has been spot on every time. They also made a great effort to accommodate my birthday. The food is absolutely amazing!

The new menu is a big improvement since reopening, and the food is delicious. The Masons Arms is open again, and there's still a lovely feel to this little pub, with great service, friendly locals, and even friendlier dogs. Their online details need work: the contact information is wrong, and they've been taking bookings on booking.com when they have no rooms available. I assume that's mostly down to the previous management.
