The location was brilliant, and the pretty front garden added to the welcome. The two hosts were talented, friendly and so interesting to talk to. Their little dog came to greet us only when invited, which was lovely. My student granddaughter and I stayed two nights this week. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, warm and very comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. Thank you so much!

They gave us a warm welcome and lots of useful information about getting into the city centre easily, then left us to enjoy our stay without hovering. Great hosts, just as the best B & B owners should be. Our family room was decent, with a modern shower, fluffy towels and a comfortable bed. We're vegan, and they did a really good job accommodating our dietary needs. A first class stay, highly recommended.

The location worked well, about a 20 minute walk from the centre of York or just a few minutes by bus. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The place was cosy, clean and comfortable, with plenty of cupboard and drawer space. The room was warm, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom modern with good facilities. WiFi was good too, and breakfast was excellent. A great place.

The owners were fantastic and welcoming, and always on hand to answer questions. The rooms were a good size and clean, and breakfast was beautifully cooked and hot. I stayed a few weeks ago and wasn't disappointed. I'd definitely come again. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Breakfast was delicious and there was loads of it. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the place was lovely. The shared shower and toilet were clean, though quite small. I’ve only taken off a star because breakfast runs from 8 to 9, and we’d have liked a lie-in. Otherwise, nothing to complain about.
