Julie and Allan made us feel very well looked after, they were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The room was spotless and comfortable, and breakfast had loads of choice and was amazing. We stayed in December for the Christmas markets, and the B&B is close to the city centre, an easy walk away. It was a great price for such a good location. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend it.

Breakfast was so thoughtfully done, with a cooked meal made to order as well as continental choices. I couldn’t have asked for more. Julie and Allan are considerate hosts, and you can see the care they put into the place. The room felt warm and homely, unlike the usual sterile hotel rooms, with lovely decor, a comfy bed, and little extras like recommendations and a sewing kit. It was clean and cosy. My time in York was especially memorable because I stayed here.

We felt right at home here, and the breakfast chats with Allan and Julie were great. The place is clean and comfortable, breakfast is exceptional, and they’re happy to help with anything. It’s such a lovely place to stay. Can’t wait to come back.

The hotel was very clean, with a good-sized room, and breakfast each morning was delicious. Julie and Allan were wonderful hosts, so accommodating and willing to go above and beyond to make me comfortable.
