Cundall Lodge Farm

Caroline made us feel so welcome, and the little details were lovely: truffles beside the bed, fresh homemade flapjacks each day and plenty of teas, Yorkshire included. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of choice and fresh local produce. She’s a fantastic cook and such a thoughtful host. We stayed in the White Horse Room, which looks out over the North Yorkshire countryside with magnificent panoramic views. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the ensuite had lovely The White Company toiletries. The gardens were immaculate, and there was an English Country-style sitting room with books, magazines and local attraction leaflets, plus plenty of spots around the farm to relax. I’m from North Yorkshire, and this is hospitality at its best. We’ll most definitely be back. Thank you, Caroline. X

We’ve returned for a second visit and were greeted by the same warm, helpful hosts, who made us feel like old friends. The farm B&B is beautiful and comfortable, with stunning views from every window and tasteful decor. Meals were delicious, and it’s easy to get into York from this peaceful country setting. Highly recommend.

We’ve already booked another visit for early March, and we’re really looking forward to it. Caroline made us feel so welcome.
