Hiya, I ended up in one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in on my trip to York. It was spotless, well looked after and really comfortable. Having a bar to relax in with a cheeky shandy was great after a day of train travel and sightseeing. I’d definitely stay there again.

We ate fish and chips and had a drink in the restaurant on a Thursday in late February during half term. From Table 9, we had a great view of the Minster, and it brought back happy memories. I last stayed at the Dean Court Hotel nearly 20 years ago, when it was a Best Western. I’d organised a company meeting for 20 people with a ghostly theme, and we all loved it. The food was great this time too, and the service was friendly and efficient. Recommended.

The staff were lovely from check-in right through to a warm goodbye, and made sure everything was right. My room was spacious, very clean and had stunning views. I was there for one night and also had a fantastic meal. The food was delicious, and the team knew the menu well. I’d highly recommend staying here.

I was pleased to get an upgraded room, especially for the stunning cathedral view. It was a spotless, comfortable place to unwind after being out, and everything was well maintained. Staff were friendly, professional and attentive throughout, making sure I felt welcome and looked after. The Dean Court Hotel is right in the heart of the city, with everything close by. I had a great stay from beginning to end and would happily return.

The staff, whether at reception, the bar or restaurant, were warm, professional and genuinely helpful. We were welcomed as soon as we arrived, and the manager gave us a tour before personally taking us to our upgraded room and explaining how things worked. That thoughtful welcome made us feel at home straight away. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the Minster. Dean Court is well placed and very comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
