Monkbridge Mews Apartment

The apartment was hot at night, but we couldn't open the windows because of the road noise, so we barely slept. It's right on the main road by a roundabout, and the traffic was loud. The location is otherwise a short walk into York. There were maintenance and cleaning issues too: holes in the plaster, flaking bathroom paint, wall marks, dusty areas, and lots of cobwebs, especially in the bedrooms. The previous guests' dishes were still in the dishwasher with a partly used tablet. For three adults staying four days, there was only a tiny amount of washing up liquid and one toilet roll, with no spare cleaning products. We couldn't get in early because the cleaners were there. I contacted the agent, who said he'd let us know when they were finished, but he didn't. Check-in was 4pm, and we were still waiting to hear, so after 4pm we went to the property ourselves. I wouldn't stay here again.

The apartment was lovely and very clean, just a five minute walk from the cobbled streets. I'll come back with my family.

A great place to stay, just a short distance from York minster.

A really good place to stay in York, within walking distance of town. Very clean, and the apartment had everything you need.
