Apartment 2 had a great lounge, with comfortable seats and a good view for people-watching. We even saw a two-storey delivery van, who knew? There are two double bedrooms, one en suite, so it worked well for meeting up with friends. The nearby restaurants were all excellent, with great service. The location was great for our York trip, and I’d certainly return for future visits. It’s upstairs, and a taxi from the station could only get as close as the Minster. That wasn’t a problem for us, but be aware if walking is difficult, as I’m waiting for a knee replacement.

We stayed in apartment 3 at the Kings Apartments. It was clean, with two big bedrooms, and there was nothing to fault. The location is excellent. It was noisy outside at night and early in the morning, but what can you expect? Brill.
