We had five people in our family and there was plenty of room for everyone. The living room had lots to keep us entertained, and the rooms were nice too. It was convenient for getting around York and had a great view. We'd happily stay here again if we're back in the city.

That river view from the bedroom was amazing, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We stayed for three nights in this beautiful apartment, and the secure garage was a big bonus. We really didn't want to leave. Huge thanks to Patrick and Helen. I can't recommend the place and the experience highly enough.

York's riverside stretches for miles, but the part between Scarborough Bridge and Millennium bridge is especially lovely for its views and atmosphere. If you get a sunny day, stay through sunset. From Lendal bridge, watching the river cruises pass below in the gorgeous evening light is a real treat.

Cookies were a delicious surprise, along with the tea, coffee and milk the owners had left for us. The place is right on the river, with bars, food and attractions close by. It's modern, clean and spacious, and very well equipped for a city break, with games for children and good wi-fi. The only blemish was a ripped voile panel on the living room window.

I've stayed here three times now, and it's a beautiful house, always clean and stocked with what you need. It's right in the middle of everything in York. An amazing place, credit to Patrick and Helen. You won't be disappointed.
