Rosa Guesthouse

As always, I had a wonderful stay at Rosa's guesthouse. It feels like a home away from home, clean, welcoming, and safe. They’re a wonderful couple.

We spent five days at Rosa Guesthouse at the end of August, and Gary and Beverly made us feel like we were visiting family. They were so warm and friendly, always willing to help. They can cook, too, so don’t miss the curried goat! The accommodation was clean, peaceful, inviting, recently updated, and very homely. Beverly had thought of all the amenities we might need, and they were there for us to use. The location on Main Street is great for doing business in Hillsborough, and it’s also just 60 feet from the beach. We started and ended our days there, with no need for chairs or umbrellas because there are sheds with benches. I strongly recommend a visit.

If I could, I’d give this six stars. Gary and Beverly, the owners, are among the warmest, friendliest, most charming people you could meet, and they’re incredibly helpful. Dog lovers get an extra treat: their Shepsky pup Coco is an absolute beauty. We love dogs too, so we had plenty to chat about. Our room was clean and spacious. Heartily recommended if you’re staying in Carriacou!

Gary and Beverly were kind, attentive, and caring, always around if I needed help, had a question, or just wanted a chat. The place is right by the beach and close to everything, and I had a wonderful stay. I was given the Purple Paradise room, my favorite color. The rooms each have a color theme. Mine was a spacious studio, super clean, cozy, and beautiful, with a full kitchen, TV, air conditioning, dining table, bathroom, double bed, and an outside balcony. Everything was in great condition and almost brand new. It’s clearly very well looked after. If you’re ever in Carriacou, this is the place to book. You won’t be disappointed!
