The setting is in a great spot near beaches and nightlife, which is the one positive for me. The rest was a sad disappointment compared with the promising website photos. The hotel feels outdated and poorly looked after, with lumpy pillows, see-through sheets, chipped pool fixtures, and ripped lounge chairs. The gym gear was rusted and broken.

The buses stop right outside, so getting into town was easy, and I loved my morning runs down to Maurice Bishop Airport. I also had a great time using the gym and pool. Management and staff were friendly and made me feel at home. They were dealing with a water drought, but much-needed rain arrived on the day I left. This was the best hotel stay I’ve had, and I had the time of my life.

The food was excellent. At every meal, I felt like I had my own chef. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make me feel at home, and Point Salines surpassed what I expected. I’d definitely recommend it to business travelers who want some time to relax while they’re on the island.

The water pressure needs improvement. Otherwise, the rooms look nice and are very clean, and the service is top quality. It’s very close to the airport and masjid, so you don’t have to worry about missing your flight.
