Silversands Grand Anse

The rooms were clean, spacious, and the amenities were great across the board. We had such a good time we didn't want to leave. The hotel is beautiful, and every staff member was friendly, happy, and smiling. Food in the Caribbean isn't usually great, but this was a positive experience too.

We were looking for a staycation more than island touring, and spent most days relaxing on Grand Anse Beach. Our hotel beach staff took good care of us, especially Andrew, who was a pleasure to be around and kept us entertained. We also walked to some beachfront restaurants and tried water activities offered by vendors right on the beach, about a minute from our hotel's beach. The hotels had kayaks and paddle boards on the beach too, so we went out to see sea turtles and explore. The beach was peaceful, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Grenada now ranks at the top for Caribbean friendliness for us. We ate at the Asian/Thai restaurant both nights. The food was solid for the Caribbean, though anyone expecting top-tier NYC dining might be disappointed. At breakfast they can make anything you request. We needed a four-day break, leaving our one-year-old daughter at home. The whole stay felt top-tier for the Caribbean. We booked the VIP fast pass transfer at the airport, were escorted to the private jet lounge, and cleared customs in about 10 minutes while seated comfortably. The driver arranged by the hotel was friendly and prompt, and the ride took 15 minutes. Manager Daniel and the rest of the staff greeted us warmly, and check-in was seamless before they showed us to our room. We were grateful for our time at Silversands and would return if we come back to Grenada. We plan to tell others looking for a relaxing Caribbean weekend getaway how much we enjoyed it. We were told by locals that the U.S. State Department's upgrade from level 1 to level 2 in early January 2026 was political, tied to Grenada not cooperating by allowing radar access during the U.S. invasion of Venezuela. We thought Grenada felt very safe, though that’s only one opinion from a couple who stayed around the hotel. If safety levels stay as they are, we’d expect Grenada to be revised back to level 1 at the next possible revision or under a new administration.

The cat Silver made our stay. We loved seeing that adorable little mascot every morning. If they took the cat away, I'd leave a negative review! Seriously, the food, service, and look of the resort were all five-star, and we had a fantastic time.

We spent several weeks at Silversands from October to December 2025 and they treated us like family. The rooms are beautiful, the pool is amazing, and everyone was attentive. Thanks again to Laurance and the whole team. There are too many friends to name here.
