Getting to Six Senses La Sagesse takes about 45 minutes from the airport along winding roads. A taxi may cost around $60 USD, while the hotel airport valet was $110 when I last spoke with them. Once there, we had a heavenly few days. Our villa had a private pool, and our suite had a lovely ocean view. The room was spacious, with a quiet A/C, a beautiful bathroom and shower, closet space, and a safe. We also appreciated the upgrade on arrival and the complimentary things included with our stay. The staff were friendly, and the restaurants served local food that was very well prepared. There was plenty to do during the day, including kayaking, beach volleyball, a full sauna, spa and fitness center, and other activities. The breakfast buffet is large and makes a good add-on if it isn't included in your room. I would highly recommend the hotel.

The range of things to do was a real highlight for our family: a well-equipped gym, cold plunge, saunas, yoga classes, and a sports center for renting kayaks, paddle boards, bicycles, and more. The pools were spotless, and the ice cream stand was a hit. Lush greenery, bright flowers, and beautiful views added to the feeling of being surrounded by nature. Our suite at Six Senses La Sagesse was spacious and beautifully designed. Housekeeping kept everything in perfect order, and the staff were consistently kind, professional, and attentive. We enjoyed the buffet as well, with plenty of fresh, delicious, high-quality options for everyone. It was a luxurious but peaceful family getaway, and one of the best trips we've ever had. The warm, welcoming people made it especially memorable. I wholeheartedly recommend it and hope we can return someday ❤️

We spent two weeks at six senses and had a great time. The resort is beautiful, the rooms all looked nice, and we loved the feeling of privacy in the oceanfront villa with its secluded beach access. Food and drinks were great, they catered well for gluten free, and everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. We also had really nice massages in the spa. We usually head to the Indian Ocean for the relaxed, remote atmosphere and high service, and this felt very similar. The hotel is about a 45-minute drive from the capital, which suited us because it felt peaceful and remote. We only left once for a sunset cruise, which was great. It also means you're away from airport noise, unlike many other resorts. The hotel arranges a daily ride there and back, along with other activities if you'd like to see more of beautiful Grenada. A couple of things to know before booking, though they weren't problems for us. This is on the Atlantic side, so the water is rougher and it's windier than the Caribbean side, and there's seaweed on the beach. We liked the breeze in the heat, but it might not be ideal if you want to spend all day in the sea. There's also a beach on the lagoon that might work, but we didn't use it since we had our own beach. It's a fairly new hotel, and while they handled most of our requests as you'd expect from a top five-star brand, there were one or two things to improve. The main issue was that my wife needs an ice pack to keep her medicine cool on long-haul flights. When we were leaving at 5:30am, the hotel had lost it, so we had to go without it. They found it after we left and got it to us before our flight, but it wasn't frozen. I think it had been in a fridge overnight instead of a freezer. Other things were much more minor, like getting the gym temperature lowered being harder than it should have been. One last thing, we didn't notice any noise or disruption from the hotel being built next door, which I think is due to finish in autumn 2026.

We stayed in suite 55 and loved feeling like it was just us and the ocean. The panorama ocean view rooms are worth it, and the service from every staff member was extraordinary. Ann Marie, Dwayne, Jade, Dexter and others were so kind and helpful. By the pool, we were served complimentary fresh coconut water, ice cream, popcorn, water, and popsicles. The pool staff also took music requests, which made it feel like a real vacation. Sea fire restaurant is worth a dinner too. It's open Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, and the food was A++. Amazing stay. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Our beach-front room felt private. There are four units in each building, but we rarely heard or ran into the neighbors, and having a personal pool was a big plus. We liked the pillow menu, too. The beach at La Sagasse was pretty nice once you walked farther down to the opposite end. Another hotel is almost finished midway down the beach, but it didn't affect our stay at all. The hotel pool is good enough that the beach felt like a bonus, and the shuttle to Grand Anse is worth taking if you're after a "Worlds Best Beach." We had delicious meals throughout the stay, with healthy, locally sourced food as much as possible. The complimentary breakfast was huge, with options for anyone, and dinner was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. The Rum Punch was easily the best I've tasted, packed with local spices. We came at the end of April into early May, and the weather was in the mid 80s with a steady light breeze. Coming from Boston, we thought it was a perfect time to travel. It was a quieter season on the island, with the resort just over half full, which we saw as a bonus. La Sagesse is a beautiful resort on a secluded cove, with staff who go out of their way to help. Everyone from the front desk to the landscapers was friendly and professional. Bertrand, our GEM contact, checked in often and kept us busy with resort activities. He was down to earth, and we really enjoyed "chopping" it up with him. Kimon drove us to Grand Anse beach and was a great "tour guide" along the way. He kept stopping to chat whenever he saw us around the resort, a solid guy. For anyone looking for an adventure, Teon leads guided experiences around the resort. He's local and took us on a great half-day E bike trip through the parish of St.David. He showed us fruits and herbs grown on the island, found us fresh ripe mangoes up in a tall tree, and helped us meet locals and get a first-hand feel for the community. He's clearly a staple in his community. Also, Teon is a pool shark, so I recommend bribing him into a few games on the resort's pool table. As an IHG member, I found this to be one of the best resorts I've visited. My wife and I had a truly relaxing tropical trip here, and we'd book again.
