The fortress is just across the way. Its main section closes at night, but the courtyard inside the walls, with its cafes and bars, stays open until at least midnight. We came with the family, and this was one of the best stops I've had in Georgia. The owners were first class, and so was the neighbor. I'd suggest adding breakfast if you're planning a full day of sightseeing, since you'll be set until evening. The saying that a Georgian breakfast is like a Polish dinner is true. I've attached photos of the two breakfasts we had.

We hadn't planned to stay here. It was getting late after visiting Rabati castle, so we searched for a nearby guest house and found this place. The host was super friendly, the rooms very clean, and the location right beside the castle was a huge plus. The view of the castle at night from the terrace is amazing. This turned out to be one of the best places we stayed during our trip around Georgia. Thanks again for the warm welcome and hospitality.

The host family are really lovely and welcoming. I've stayed at Rabath hotel twice. The rooms are clean, it's close to the city center and shops, and it's quiet.

Breakfast was included and exceptional. We also got a welcome drink, and the room was great, with a good shower. The staff were incredibly friendly. Excellent hotel!
