For GEL 30 for a single or double, this felt like a waste of money. The area wasn't very interesting for visitors, with lots of building supply and hardware shops but few places to get food or drinks. Street noise was loud during the day, and there was construction on the property too. Getting checked in was confusing. The woman asked me to wait, then after five minutes told me to go upstairs without saying which room was mine. I couldn't find the WiFi password, so I had to visit her in another building. The password she gave me didn't work, which meant another trip. They could put it in the room or leave a printed sheet. The room itself had plenty of problems. The bed sagged like a boat, and the pillows smelled bad. I didn't even bother asking for new ones. The bathroom light was so dim I could barely see half my face in the mirror, let alone how the bathroom had been cleaned. The toilet tank lid was missing, and at first I didn't know how to flush. There were hairs left by previous guests. I think the towel on the bathroom floor may have had them on it too, and it didn't look clean. Hotels should leave towels somewhere else so guests can tell they're fresh. The worst part was a man trying to open my door one evening. Normally I'd call reception before opening it, but there was no phone, so I answered. He said, "money." I was caught off guard, and since scams and crime are uncommon in Georgia, I paid him then and there. I should have asked him to come to the office with me and get a receipt. I should've paid attention to the booking.com main photo, which was of the stairs. After posting this review, I also got a harassing WhatsApp message from the phone number on my booking.com confirmation.
