Hostel California review The week here was horrible, and it was one of my worst experiences ever. There were several basic problems with the accommodation. The rooms are very small, with no windows, ventilation, or AC. There were only two lockers for four guests and a broken shelf. The double-decker beds were made of cheap steel and made me feel like I was in a prison cell. The shower's hot water cuts out after a minute. Then you have to wait under freezing water for five minutes or even longer before it gets warm again. There are no keys, so the rooms are left open and anyone can get to your things. The hostel has two entrances, and one is always open. The host also came by with random relatives, who sometimes stayed overnight and walked in and out of the rooms at 2 am. On some nights they watched TV loudly. This experience shouldn't cost anything. The hostel should either close or be rebuilt from scratch.

The double room was great value, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly for getting online. What really stood out, though, was the owner’s warm hospitality. He was funny, helpful, and trustworthy. I left my bag with my passport, money, and phone behind, and he went all the way to bring it back to me. I’d recommend this hostel if you want to relax and enjoy yourself.

The place was clean, and everyone was so friendly. Absolutely recommend it.
