The good points are that the staff speak English, the location is really good, and the room has air conditioning. Still, I don't see how this place gets four stars. The reception is very basic, and the elevator only fits two people. The room door was old, cheap wood with a key instead of a card, and it was easy to hear everything through it. My room wasn't very clean and smelled of cigarette butts. Shower water ran for half a second to two seconds, then stopped for five or ten seconds. Even the Alik Hotel sign in the photo has one light off at night. I'd rate it 2.5 stars.

We had such a wonderful holiday and will be back ✌️ The owner was very hospitable, and the hotel was clean and comfortable, in a beautiful part of old Batumi. Next door, Caffe ga.zapkhuli served delicious Georgian food. Thank you ❤️ Highly recommended 💫

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Batumi, about a two-minute walk from Batumi Boulevard and close to Radisson and Le Meridien Hotels. It has the largest lobby among four-star hotels, and the renovated rooms and welcoming staff made for a very nice stay. Highly recommended 👌👌

The shower flooded the whole bathroom every time, and breakfast was terrible, with no juice or coffee and the same bunch of garbage food each day. During the first two days, after room service, our chocolate bar, wafer, chips, and other food went missing, and staff did nothing about it. No one at the hotel speaks English, so you'll have to rely on body language if you book here. It felt like clear robbery for what we paid.

The location is good, but this was the worst hotel I've ever seen. I stayed three nights. It's an old place with messy rooms, low water pressure, no room service, and very rude staff who can't even speak English. The photos show a pool, but it wasn't working. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
