Hotel Old Star

I have an orthopedic disability, and staying here put me in a very difficult position. The room smelled strongly of damp, mold, and cigarette smoke, and there was a large insect inside when I arrived. The window was so high I couldn’t reach it, and it didn’t even seem like a proper window. The bed and linens were extremely old and dirty, so I ended up sleeping with my own towel on the bed. The shower and toilet shared one area, leaving the whole bathroom floor wet after I showered. I slipped there. The water heater lid was already broken, yet they still charged me 20 lari for it. Staff were rude and disrespectful. One employee insulted me and falsely blamed me for bringing the insect in from outside, which was humiliating and completely unacceptable. I’ve stayed at many hotels in different countries and have never found one this dirty, neglected, and disrespectful. A good location can’t make up for conditions like these. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend it.
