Hotel Roshe- apartment 405

This is an apartment building, and what I booked was SEA SIDE APARTMENT. I asked for a discount because there was no pool, even though the hotel was advertised as having one. The hostess suggested cancelling through booking-com and paying her 23,500 rubles directly by card for seven nights. When I arrived, the room was dirty, with cobwebs and paint all over. The sockets seemed unsafe, and there was a strong damp and mold smell. Maybe the building was constructed with violations. There was a washing machine but no drying rack or laundry powder. No corkscrew either, and they said the previous guest had taken it. There was dish soap but no sponge. The hostess told me to buy the powder, sponge, and corkscrew myself, and suggested I make coffee in a saucepan. The damp and construction smells kept me up all night. In the morning I found another hotel and asked for some money back. I stayed one day instead of seven because it was so bad, but they refused a refund, saying the owners had supposedly booked the room themselves on the booking site. A day later I saw they were trying to sell my already paid dates again. The building is shabby, there’s no security, and the view is of a parking area where trucks park at night. There was lots of rubbish downstairs. To check in you have to collect the room key, but the room is on the third floor and you can’t get up without a working key for the elevator. With nobody downstairs to watch things, there was nowhere to leave my luggage. Avoid this place.
