The room was nice, modern, and minimally decorated, with a separate bathroom that turns into a shower when you use it. The family who runs the place is lovely and treats you like one of their own. There’s a small get-together on the terrace each night with homemade food and conversation. The garden smells wonderful, especially at night. There’s also a little playground for kids, a big friendly dog, and bamboo growing nearby, though I’m not sure if it’s part of the property. The biggest problem was the very damp air. The bed felt and smelled damp and heavy, which made it hard to sleep. The house is far from Batumi, with no restaurants or anything nearby, but cheap, fast transport is available. The beach is across a busy road, so be careful. Walk a little west and there’s a lovely beach beside the beautiful botanical garden.

We had a great stay. The owner, dear Ednar, is so kind and responsible. There’s a lovely view and lots of green around the place. It’s close to the seaside, with a very nice, clean beach just 200 meters away. The botanical garden and a village are nearby too. Stay here and enjoy everything.

You can pick kiwi in the garden next to the house, and the owner helped us call a taxi when it was time to leave. I’d recommend staying here, even for a longer visit. The main draw is how close it is to the sea: cross the road and you’re there. The rooms are Soviet-style and you can hear the neighbors through the wall, but the price is low, so that’s okay. Anyone expecting luxury will be disappointed. The house is private, and the family who lives there often gets together with guests.

We found it hard to leave and will definitely stay here again. The room, shower, hallway, and veranda were clean, and the window looked out on a lovely green garden. The sea is only 500 meters away. One kilometer from the house there’s a delicious café and restaurant called Lana, serving Georgian food in huge portions at fantastic prices. Check the nearby map. Most of all, we loved the house and its very kind, welcoming host.

The garden around the house has tangerines, figs, and kiwis growing in it. The rooms are clean, though the kitchen is a bit messy, mostly because of the guests, and the humidity is high. Batumi is reachable by bus or taxi. For a beach holiday with kids, it’s a good option for the price.
