We had a family holiday here in 2025 and were very happy with it. The pebble beach is about a seven-minute walk away, and there’s parking in the courtyard. The train station and botanical garden are nearby too. The house has air conditioning, working plumbing, a shower, and hot water. You can cook in the kitchen, though the owner also has a cafe right by the sea with tasty food at reasonable prices.
We came in June, before the season had really begun. The sea was cool, but the beach was spacious and quiet, and we had it to ourselves. Batumi was only a five-minute bus ride away, with all the usual resort town amenities.
The hosts, Levan and Nastya, are a lovely family. They met us late at night, helped us get settled, gave us the information we needed in the morning, and were ready to help without trying to sell us anything. The house is clean and cozy, with a kitchen, washing machine, and plenty of bathrooms. I wish we could have stayed longer. The beach is five to seven minutes away, with shops nearby, and Batumi is a 10-15 minute minibus ride. There are cafes and shops on the beach, but not too many people. Kobuleti felt like a real tourist trap and Batumi itself was busy, while this place suited us perfectly. Great house and wonderful hosts. Good luck!
The first time we came was in 2016, and we’re returning in 2019. We’ll definitely be back, both to Georgia and to Levani. His family is incredibly welcoming, the rooms are spacious and excellent, and the food and wine are always delicious. There’s even a bar right on the seashore. I highly recommend it.
We were lucky with the weather during our early October stay. It’s a lovely place with a wonderful hostess, a great view, and all the amenities you need. The center is about ten minutes away.
