Lovely Studio in Batumi With Rooftop in Building

The room decor was lovely and the service was amazing. We were two people staying for three days. There was construction going on nearby, which was the one thing we didn’t like. We got here from the train station by Bolt in 15 minutes, and it cost 15 lari.

The staff were so welcoming and helpful, and there’s a tasty cafeteria on the first floor plus a shop nearby. Check-in starts at 15:00. We also used the rooftop pool. The hotel is on the 12th floor, and the elevator needs a card, so you can ask someone on the first floor or call the hotel staff for help. Our room was beautifully designed, with new, good-quality furnishings and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast is included and served from 9 to 14. There’s plenty of flavor, and you can ask for porridge or an omelet as well. It’s a five-minute walk to the beach, about ten minutes on foot to the plane-watching spot, 20 minutes by car to Sarpi, and 10 minutes by car to the city center. The area is new and has construction at the moment, but the room soundproofing works well. It’s also away from the city’s noisy areas.

The rooms were perfect, and most of the breakfast is halal for Muslims. Finding the place was another story. Seagull beachfront hotel is inside the sunrise hotel building, which is strange, and it’s not easy to find that out. I couldn’t locate it easily.

I visited Batumi while the hotel was nearly finished, and the developer proudly walked me through the project. The furnishings and decor struck me as high quality. I also got the impression that they’d brought in service-minded management to make guests’ stays exceptional. The quality and honesty, and even what I’d call a western sensibility, really impressed me. I can’t wait to come back to Batumi and stay at the Seagull Beachfront!
