Ornament Boutique Hotel

We offered to pay for one night and leave, but they wouldn't work with us. The room looked nothing like the photos, and it smelled bad. The shower was dirty, the walls were damaged, and the hygiene was very poor. We paid cash but received no receipt. When we asked for a refund, the receptionist and owner both refused and said the money was gone. A very disappointing, unprofessional experience. Avoid this place.

We didn't stay at all, even though we had paid around 1700 GEL for 8 nights. The room was in bad shape, with mold, a dirty sink, a terrible smell, and no sign that things were clean or cared for. The larger room we had booked wasn't available when we arrived. They said we could move into it the next day, but the condition of the place was already unacceptable, so we refused. They then refused a refund. We got only 31 GEL back from booking.com in the end, which is ridiculous next to what we paid. It felt completely unfair and unprofessional. I can't recommend it.

I had paid for Friday night into Saturday, told the hotel in advance when I would arrive, and got confirmation. But when I got there, the receptionist said there was no room available. She was rude, didn't speak English, wouldn't let me talk to her boss, and refused to give me proof that I had been turned away. She also made no effort to help sort it out, so I felt pretty helpless.

The receptionist was great and gave us lots of tips for visiting Tbilisi and the rest of Georgia. Russian is spoken perfectly, though communication in English can be difficult. The rooms were clean and the hotel itself was nice, but some guests could be loud and odd, which made the atmosphere problematic at times.
