I expected to be able to walk to the train station, but getting there is inconvenient: you have to cross the tracks and a major, busy road. I also didn't like staying in a guesthouse like this. The grandfather was peering through my window as I was about to turn on the air conditioning, then rudely told me how to shut the windows. If he'd given me a minute, he would have seen I was working out the remote and getting ready to close them. Why was he looking through my window when the hosts live downstairs? The unit is two flights up, which isn't convenient with large luggage. There's no blackout blinds, so the room is bright at night and in the morning. It smelled musty in the room, on the sheets, and especially in the bathroom. There's not much here, the shoreline is closed for construction, and there's a shared kitchen.

The owner’s warm attitude is what stood out most, and the place is pleasant and inexpensive. Getting to the center was straightforward: one bus stops right by the house and takes Visa, while minibuses and another bus can be caught at the highway stop nearby. The hostel is clean and pleasant, with a two-room apartment and veranda access. There’s air conditioning in one room but, unfortunately, not the other. The shower has hot water. The kitchen downstairs has a stove, dishes, and a refrigerator; there’s another fridge on the floor, though it doesn’t work well. The location is satisfactory. The sea is close, but we’d go to a cleaner beach.
