Resort In Gonio

The sea view is amazing, prices are fair, and the direct access to the sea is a big plus. Gonio Inn has clean, nice rooms and a great bar, with friendly, cool staff. The hotel team are polite and well-mannered, room service works well, and the stay was really pleasant. I think the hotel doesn’t need a pool. I’ll definitely stay here more often.

The restaurant serves a good range of well-prepared dishes, and the rooms are comfortable. It’s an affordable hotel on a quiet beach, with very efficient staff. I’d recommend it anytime and hope to come back soon!

I’ve been to the restaurant four times. The food is decent overall, the barista is nice, and one of the four waiters was good. Most of the others were seriously inattentive. On my first visit I waited 15 minutes for a waiter, then left. The second time, my order came quickly. Both the iced coffee and iced coffee with Baileys were quite good. Freshly ground coffee is hard to find by the beach, since most places serve instant. I got the same good iced coffee on my third visit and ordered an Irish coffee. The waiter checked what I wanted, and I confirmed it, but they brought Turkish coffee instead. I asked for a replacement. The barista was professional and pleasant, and the Irish coffee they made was good. I was charged the Turkish coffee price, which was 10 gel cheaper than the Irish coffee. On my fourth visit, I waited 40 minutes while trying to get the staff’s attention. I felt invisible to them, which was funny and strange. Finally, a nice girl took my order. She was pleasant, which softened the experience a little.
