Royal Medis Hotel

Only a three-minute walk to the beach. The room was clean and pretty, and the hotel was cool.

We left early and booked another hotel because the room problems had already ruined our stay. Marie did kindly offer us a different room, but I still think we should be refunded for the nights we didn’t use. I’m writing because you blocked both me and my husband. Please return the money for the three nights, and I’ll delete my comment. Maria’s mother is very nice, and Mzeo is a wonderful hostess, but Marie blocks guests to avoid refunds. Marie also accused us of being loud, which felt especially odd on vacation. Her display includes a fake 5-liter whiskey bottle filled with syrup, something all the guests know about. The place didn’t match the sales listing: it’s apartments in a huge, intimidating high-rise, not a hotel, and our view was a construction site where the builders would definitely wave you off. The balcony door wouldn’t close with barbed wire, leaving free access to the neighbors, so guests have to move chairs and sofas to protect their belongings. The plumbing didn’t work at all, and we had to take the shower head to the toilet to flush. The wardrobe wouldn’t open or close, and the rooftop terrace was empty, with none of the tables or chairs shown in the advertising photo.

We spent 80% of our evenings on the lovely terrace, and the breakfasts were fantastic. It’s a quiet, family-run place where people are always ready to help or offer suggestions, whether you need to know where to go, get a manicure, or buy fruit. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the rooms are very clean. The whole hotel smells nice, too. For a hotel right on the seafront, it’s only a four-minute walk away. People keep asking about the 17th-floor location in a building, but I don’t see why that matters. Great value for the price. We’ve stayed at Hilton and Radisson, but this place feels different from those, which have no soul. Here it’s cozy, like home. My husband and I really enjoyed staying at Royal Medis Hotel, and I’ll definitely return.

The window had a lovely view, and the photos matched the place exactly. Everything was clean and cozy, with tasteful design, new furniture, and fluffy white towels. The staff were polite and friendly, and we had no issues with the cleaning. It’s nice to see people take their work seriously and put care into it. About the elevator coins, that’s common in Georgia. I’ve been to the country before and have seen them in many places. I’ll definitely come back to Royal Medis. Thanks for the warm welcome!
