I’ve booked through Booking.com many times while traveling in different countries, but I ran into an unacceptable situation in Batumi. It puts guests under pressure once they’re already there, making them feel they have to accept the increase. I caught the discrepancy in time and canceled. Still, it looked like customers were being drawn in under one set of terms and then faced with different ones, which raises serious questions and undermines trust in both the platform and the region’s tourism sector. The relevant services and platforms should pay attention to this. I’d advise checking the booking terms carefully and confirming the final price directly in advance.
