Sky Tower Hotel

We had a very nice stay, with good service, a great open buffet breakfast, and an amazing view. If you go, I’d make sure to book a sea-view room. The pool and gym were under renovation during our visit, unfortunately.

This was a horrible, dirty place. I’d just arrived in batumi, and this “hotel” didn’t even have toilets. When I asked the staff where I could find one, they told me to leave. The employees were rude and unprofessional. Don’t stay here if you come to batumi.

The location is top notch, though it gets very loud. Sound insulation is decent if you can live with some background noise. The room was okay, but it’s definitely not five-star quality, with too many marks on the walls and some mold in the showers. The bed was comfortable enough after a night out drinking until delirium. Our A/C didn’t work on the first night, and then seemed to have only two settings: off or ice cave 🤣. WiFi was pretty bad. Our bathroom smelled of feces, maybe because odor was leaking in from the neighboring room. Breakfast wasn’t good, though it was okay for a hostel. I’d call this a fancy hostel by European standards, suitable if you’re trying to save money or just passing through.

The room was large and the location was good, but I can’t think of other positives. It’s strange to me that this is rated as a five-star hotel, since the services were very low quality. The person who brought our slippers was impolite, and so was the one who brought the iron. The pillows smelled of smoke. The people in the neighboring room smoked constantly, and we could easily smell it.
