Hotel & restaurant Emerald Borjomi

The owner was around most of the time and was very friendly, always happy to help with questions or requests. Breakfast was good, with enough variety and fresh fruit and vegetables. The restaurant on the top floor also served decent food at fair prices, a convenient option if you don't want to head out for lunch or dinner. We had an early start on our last morning, before breakfast service began, and the owner kindly brought lunchboxes to our rooms the night before. They had sandwiches with cheese, boiled eggs, cucumber, tomato, bottled water, and coke for the long drive. We were too busy sightseeing to try it, but the heated pool on the lowest floor looked really nice.

I slept better here than anywhere before. The room was comfortable, clean, and tidy, with a beautiful forest view and lovely weather. The hotel was really nice, the staff were kind and helpful, and the service was excellent. We also really enjoyed the restaurant food. I had a great time and will definitely come back one day.

The hotel is new and very white, in a quiet area about a five-minute drive from Borjomy's center. There's a small indoor pool for kids, and the breakfast is very good by Georgian standards. Still, there's nothing to do at the hotel itself, so I'd book it only for bed and breakfast. Staffing was the weakest part: Sulkhan is the only person who speaks English, while the others mostly just keep watch, and they call him for every small request. Checkout was unpleasant too. After we loaded our luggage into the car, they sent one of the kids to make sure we wouldn't leave before the rooms had been checked.

The staff were so kind and attentive, and the service was top notch. The hotel's own restaurant served really tasty food at prices far below what you'd pay in Tbilisi. I'm very pleased, thanks!
