We had a lovely stay, and the owners were absolutely amazing and friendly. The room was clean and everything worked well. It's perfectly located for Gori's main attractions.

The hosts were very attentive and went out of their way to help. They let me leave my bags while I visited the Stalin museum and even offered to stitch a tear in my bag. The rooms were spotless, and the neighborhood had a nice community feel. All the main sites are about a 10-minute walk away.

The spiral stairs were hard to manage with luggage, and then we found there'd been no electricity since we checked in at noon. When we got back that evening, it was dark, but the host hadn't offered a light or candle. We eventually went downstairs using our phone light to ask for one. We were exhausted, but couldn't sleep because we could clearly hear a man in the host's family talking loudly in their room until well after 11.30, even with the door and windows shut. It was an uncomfortable, disappointing stay, and we left as soon as we could the next day.
