Mariam was so welcoming and kind while we were backpacking around Georgia. We had a few fun evenings playing board games, and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioning worked really well, the showers were good, and there was a nice balcony to sit on. It’s also well placed for exploring Gori. I’d definitely stay again.
The shower water was cold, and the internet was rather slow. The private bathroom is outside the room, but towels and bath towels are provided. The room has air conditioning and gets quite cool. There’s also a fridge, kettle, and hairdryer in the shared area. For the price, it’s excellent value.
It felt like being part of a friendly family. They let me do laundry for free, and there was a piano and some board games too. The tip they gave me for the best restaurant in town was spot on 😉 I had a really great stay.
Everything is nearby because the house is so centrally located. I loved staying here, and the family was incredibly friendly and ready to help with whatever I needed. I’d recommend it if you’re visiting Gori!
I’ve never felt so welcome at a hotel. The owner’s daughter was there to help when we arrived and explained everything in English. She and her dad even drove us to an ATM and gave us a little tour of the city. When we got back, a home-cooked local meal was waiting for us. The owner was clearly proud of the house, and you could see the time and care put into it. Our room had an adorable purple theme. It felt more like staying with a nice aunt than at a hotel. The place felt very homey and clean, with everything we needed: bathroom, kitchen, living room, garden, balcony, and air conditioning. Great location and amazing customer service.
