Club-2100 Hotel

The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout, and the restaurant had great food and service. Breakfast was included, which made this feel like very good value for money. The property also has an amazing view. New Gudauri Ski Resort is close, about a 2 km walk or a short taxi ride for around GEL 27. For anyone planning a trip here, I think this is one of Gudauri’s underrated hotels and worth considering.

The veranda has a lovely mountain view. The hotel is quite far from New Gudauri, though getting there is fairly easy, and the nearest lift is about a 10-minute walk. There’s ski rental on site, 10 lari cheaper than in New Gudauri. If you’re new to skiing, though, I’d rent near the lifts instead. The rooms are small but look okay. Breakfast is included and good, but there aren’t many choices. I’d say the restaurant food is very good, and its prices are reasonable, though a bit higher than in Tbilisi. They’re often out of some menu items, and their adjaruli khachapuri uses margarine instead of real butter. It’s still big and very tasty.

We had a bag stolen during our stay at Hotel Club 2100, and the hotel’s response made a bad situation worse. Staff showed no empathy or support and wouldn’t help us check security footage. We had to deal with it ourselves, including spending hours at the police station. Guests should feel safe and supported at a hotel. Club 2100 failed us on both, and I deeply regret booking there. I’d strongly advise looking elsewhere if security and professional service matter to you.

Rooms are clean and the slopes are very close, making this a comfortable choice for people who love skiing. There’s a restaurant on site too, with delicious meals. Highly recommended.
