Restaurants and places to meet up are right nearby, since this is the area's central, popular spot. We stayed at New Gudauri House, Block 5 for five nights, and the room was comfortable enough to make traveling with kids much easier. A good pick for a family wanting both a convenient base and a comfortable stay.
We stayed in an apartment behind club 2100, a little farther from old and new Gudauri, but the view made that worthwhile. The ski-in, ski-out access was perfect, and everyone was kind and attentive. We'd definitely come back.
Our group of six found the accommodation good, with everything close by. #426 Suites was in a perfect spot for skiing straight in and out.
