Roshe Gudauri Hotel

The staff were so hospitable and welcoming, and I’d happily stay here again. At Hotel Roshe, my room was clean, comfortable, and just right for winding down after a day in the mountains. The included breakfast was delicious and had a lovely selection of fresh options. The spa was phenomenal, a great spot to relax. Highly recommended!

The whole trip was basically ruined by the hotel’s false information, disorganization, and unwillingness to help. I paid 650 GEL for one night, yet spent most of my time digging my car out of the snow instead of skiing and relaxing. When we arrived, the receptionist said a tractor would clear the parking area during the day and told us it was fine to park in a snowy spot. Later, after my car got stuck, that same receptionist asked me to move it because it was supposedly in the tractor’s way. I spent nearly an hour struggling to get it unstuck, then managed to park somewhere I thought was better, trusting the tractor would come as promised. I went skiing thinking it was sorted. When I returned that night, several cars were parked behind me and the tractor still hadn't shown up. The next morning, my car was stuck again, and other cars were trapped behind me too. I spent another 2-3 hours trying to get it out rather than enjoying the slopes. Staff said they'd help push, but one of them literally said he didn't want to get his white shirt dirty. A kind stranger ended up helping me, not the hotel staff. For 650 GEL a night, this level of service is honestly unacceptable.

Gigi from the restaurant was so warm and respectful, always greeting us with a smile. The housekeeping team also did a lovely job each day, and it was a pleasure returning to a clean, organized room. Zani and Tato at reception were especially helpful with my ski gear and suit. Even with self check-in and check-out, they made sure I felt looked after. Their kindness helped make my first time skiing unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, everyone made me feel welcome. The team brought real care to the experience, and I’d happily come back.

We enjoyed the sauna every evening, and breakfast had plenty of choice. The ride to the lifts worked out well too. We were a little uncertain about needing a transfer each day, but never waited longer than 10-15 minutes. Our mountain view room was spacious and cozy, and the staff were friendly and ready to help with anything. Saba was always there when we needed something. Since we visited off-season, it felt as if we had the whole place to ourselves. Really warm hospitality, five stars.
