Getting around is easy from here, with public transport nearby. There’s ski rental in the building, and the lift is close too. You can buy tickets there.

This older building works fine if skiing is the main reason for your stay. Getting to New Gudauri is awkward, though.

The area is quiet, and the whole complex stays warm because it’s heated. The rooms can differ, but the facilities are generally dated. You can walk to the beginner slope and take the lift from there. In heavy snow, taxis may struggle to reach the entrance since the road up from the main road is a little steep.

The lower lift keeps running, so even if bad weather shuts the lifts, you can still get back home. The location is a big advantage, and you can ski down from the slope, as the window photo shows. Since different owners have apartments in the building, the conditions vary. We had a rough time in 2019: finding the keys took ages, and the owner didn’t meet us. In 2020 we stayed in room 81, and that owner met us early in the morning, well before check-in. It saved us a whole day of skiing!
