Zemo Aragvi Hotel

Breakfasts were excellent, and most of the food was very good, though the small kitchen seemed to struggle once more tables ordered lunch or dinner. When it got busy, the quality dropped and we didn’t have a good experience. Prices for meals were cheap compared with the rest of Gudauri, and the rooms were considerably cheaper too, but there seemed to be a reason for that. We stayed around 4-5 nights and felt underwhelmed. The hotel still seemed to be under construction, and the finished work wasn’t done properly. Balcony doors didn’t seal well; in our room there was a wire with a bulb instead of a light fixture. There was no closet, luggage space, or place to put things in the bathroom. One room stayed very cold despite the heating running 24/7. They kindly gave us an electric heater, but the room was so small that it left no space. The beds were very soft and uncomfortable to me, though that’s just my personal opinion. On the plus side, the food was mostly good, and they helped us find a transfer from Tbilisi for 300 GEL for 7 people. We got fresh towels, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and slippers. The server seemed awkward and like he hated every second of his job.
