Balu is just outside Kobuleti on the way to Shekvetili, with the sea only a 5-minute walk away. The rooms are large and clean, and the kitchen has everything you need. It’s a stylish, private-feeling hotel. The host is very welcoming and will pick you up from the train and take you back, too. There’s a comfy chair on the balcony, just right for relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening.

The rooms are quite nice, with modern furnishings and design, and there’s a refrigerator in each room. The hosts were welcoming and spoke Russian. There’s a little store downstairs with everything you need, plus a kitchen on the third floor and a laundry room on the second, both free to use. There was private parking, though space was limited.
