WARNING, BAD HOTEL. They confirmed my stay through booking, then refused to give me a room without a proper reason.
We had a great time with our family at Chill Out Hotel in July 2025. The pool was lovely, with a separate section for children, and the sea was less than 100 meters away. We were lucky with the weather, and the days flew by. Everything we needed was nearby. The food wasn’t a buffet, but it was very good. Of all the hotels we’ve seen in Georgia, this one had food that was truly good. Special thanks to Lika and Tamazi for the warm welcome!
We’re staying at Chill Out Hotel now, and since ours is a self-service tour, I can’t comment on that part. I don’t agree with the previous reviewer about the alcohol. We ordered peach chacha, red wine, garnet wine, and white wine from Tomasi, the owner. The red was delicious, and we’ll definitely order the garnet and white again to take home. Lika and Tomasi are wonderfully welcoming and helpful. They explain things, give practical advice, and have been ready to help with every question. They haven’t refused us anything so far. We’re in the first building, and the room is spacious. It has snow-white towels, two per person, one large and one small, plus soap and even slippers. There’s a hairdryer, small fridge, TV, table with two chairs, roomy closet with plenty of hangers, wide bed, and air conditioning. The mattress is indeed tired, but there were mattress pads in the closet, and once we put them on it was fine. There’s no dryer on the balcony, but there are lines and clothespins, so drying clothes is no problem. The hotel has a washing machine and iron, though we haven’t needed to use them. Cleaning is by request, even daily, and we take out our own rubbish. After many trips to Bulgaria, we’re used to that kind of hotel stay. The location is lovely, practically in the middle of Kobuleti, near the market and amusement park. The beach by Chill Out has large pebbles, but it isn’t as rocky as the coast toward Batumi. The pool is kept very clean, vacuumed and tended regularly. And when I asked how late I could swim, they said I could come even at night! Maybe I’m easy to please, or maybe you’re too demanding, but I’d happily come back, perhaps next year.
The hosts, Tazo and Lika, were always on hand to help me with questions, and made me feel very welcome. It’s a 10 out of 10 hotel! The beachfront location is great, and the rooms are cozy, clean, and comfortable, with a fridge, Wi-Fi, balcony, hairdryer, and comfortable beds. Towels are clean and changed whenever requested. There’s a big pool with loungers, plus places to relax around the grounds with tables, swings, and more loungers. Breakfasts are varied, different each day, and include coffee and tea. Thanks so much for the warm welcome!
We spent 10 nights here in August with the family, and wished we could have stayed longer. Everything was within walking distance from the hotel in central Kobuleti, about 100 meters from the sea. Our room was spacious, with air conditioning, bathroom, closet, fridge, and hairdryer. There’s a restaurant downstairs and a pool behind the building. The pool was very clean, leaves included, removed twice a day, and there was no smell of chlorine. The hosts were friendly and helped us with lots of questions, even taking us to the market. It was surprisingly quiet, there were no water shortages, and the place was clean.
