The reservation was eventually cancelled, and I don't recommend this hotel because the financial risk seems very high. I can't see what guarantee there is that the same thing won't happen to other tourists in summer 2026. The owners confirmed our booking three times: four rooms from August 2, 2026 to August 13, 2026; a change to August 1, 2026 through August 14, 2026, with an extra charge for two days; and confirmation over the phone using the number the hotel provided. Then, on April 20, 2026, the hotel sent us a notice saying that a technical error had caused the reservation to be processed at the wrong prices. It said the nightly rate was different and asked us to cancel and book again at the corrected price, otherwise they wouldn't be able to host us. So it felt like they were pressuring us to cancel voluntarily and pay the new, higher rate. If we didn't rebook under the terms we'd already agreed to three times, our group of five adults and three children simply wouldn't be accommodated. Would they leave us out on the street?
