The only two things I liked were the lovely garden and how close the sea was. In my opinion, the rest made this hostel a poor stay. The room was damp, humid, and stuffy, with no window screens. At night I could either shut the windows and stay in the stuffiness, or open them, attract mosquitoes, and still feel stifled. The room and shower weren't cleaned at all during the week. There's Wi-Fi, but it's very bad, and mobile internet is poor too. The summer kitchen is shared. We had booked a suite through Booking.com, but on arrival they said it was occupied and wouldn't be free for three days. They offered another room meanwhile and charged us straight away at the suite rate. Instead, we were put in an old, damp ground-floor room. The bathroom was behind a thin wall, and on the street side of that wall there was a table where someone often sat. You could hear everything, so even using the toilet felt like you weren't alone. There were no plans to move us to another room, and it turned out the Booking suite didn't exist. We couldn't put up with it any longer, so they returned part of the payment for the nights we didn't stay. We had paid a lot for what was actually the cheapest room. The hosts were indecent. They ask guests to cancel Booking reservations so they don't have to pay a commission, which means you can't sort things out through Booking afterward.

The price felt high for this old building, especially since there are better places at the same rate just 100-150 meters away. It's also near a road, so there's some noise. The rooms don't have their own shower or toilet, those are shared by everyone on each floor. One more thing, the map puts it on Abashidze Street, but the actual address is Pirosmani Street, Building 5, on the neighboring street.

A lovely family and a cozy home with everything you need. It's on the edge of the village, five minutes from the beach. Thanks for the vacation!
